Tarzan & Jane: Real Marriage, Told with Humor and Honesty

Why Tarzan & Jane?

I chose Tarzan and Jane for humor’s sake—but also for truth’s sake. Tarzan represents the age-old joke: men can be all-in during the pursuit, yet sometimes seem clueless after the “happily ever after” begins. Jane represents the quiet ache many women feel when the noticing fades.

Humor softens the heaviness, because marriage is no light matter. Even couples with decades of history know storms return, and laughter can be the only thing that keeps us sane while we talk about the hard parts.

What This Series Is About

The Tarzan & Jane Marriage Series isn’t about perfect couples—it’s about real ones.

It’s about the small cracks that erode intimacy: the kiss forgotten, the coffee cup left empty, the screens that steal attention, the silence that grows louder than words. It’s about the doubts that creep in when we feel unnoticed, and the numbing that threatens when hope begins to fade.

But it’s also about the turning points—the clumsy efforts to reconnect, the sparks of hope that rebuild trust, the small daily choices that bring laughter and closeness back again.

The best way to experience Tarzan & Jane is from the start—where the laughter first meets the storms.

Tarzan & Jane: Humor + Honesty in Marriage

Marriage is beautiful, but it’s also hard. Storms always return—and if we don’t notice the small cracks, the foundation can erode. This series blends humor (“Me Tarzan, Me Clueless”) with honesty to explore real struggles that couples face. Because laughter helps us talk about the things that might otherwise feel too heavy.

🌴 “Love is blind… but Jane still saw Tarzan’s laundry pile swinging from the vines.”

💡 And as Jimmy Buffett reminded us: “If we couldn’t laugh, we would all go insane.”
